From first conversation to payment
Most engagements take 3 to 11 weeks. You stay in control at every step, and you sign directly with the buyer you choose.
Free review Week 1
A 30-minute call about what records you keep, how far back they go and which systems they live in. Within five business days you receive a one-page memo: what buyers want, a realistic value range, and what to check before going further. There is no cost and no obligation.
Preparation Weeks 1–2
If you decide to proceed, we sign a simple engagement letter and an NDA. Together we agree exactly which records are included, how customer and employee details are removed, and what a buyer may see as a sample.
Going to market Weeks 2–5
We present a summary of your data, never the data itself, to several qualified buyers under NDA. Interested buyers review approved samples and submit written offers by a set date.
Negotiation Weeks 4–7
You see every offer side by side, with each term explained in plain English. We negotiate price, upfront cash, exclusivity, usage rights and liability, and recommend which offer to accept. The decision is always yours.
Closing Weeks 5–11
Your attorney reviews the final contract and you sign directly with the buyer. We coordinate delivery and stay involved until payment arrives. Our fee is due only from those proceeds.
What we will ask you for
At the start, only a description: what kinds of records you keep, roughly how many, from which years, and in which systems. You do not need to send files for the free review.
Later, with an NDA in place, we will ask for small, approved samples so buyers can judge quality. Full deliveries happen only after you sign, and only of what the contract covers.
